Legendary OG YouTube animator Zach Hadel (PsychicPebbles) enters The Create Unknown to talk about how the changing landscape of YouTube monetization is leaving animators out in the cold. Our conversation touches on the details of the animation business, from creating concepts and characters to pitching your cartoon to a network. Zach delves into his inspirations, explains how he chooses projects, and introduces us to Gilby, who’s just a regular working class guy.
Zach’s career includes Hellbenders (with OneyNG), work on SpongeBob Squarepants, SleepyCabin’s SleepyCast, collaborations with JonTron, outstanding appearances on the h3h3 Podcast, his own series Schmucks, and most recently The Very Positive Stream with Michael Cusack.
